I attempted to put this vision on paper starting first with quick brush strokes of watercolor. Everything ran together and there was no definition of shapes, so I decided the tree and branches would have inked outlines. Lastly, I got the sponge out to give the green blogs texture.
It does NOT look like my vision, but I had fun doing it.

ReplyDeleteNothing ever comes out the way you see it in your head--at least it never does for me. But that doesn't mean the end result can't be good. I say nice job capturing a small piece of nature.

Well, most of my pieces never turn out as I envision. hahaha BUt seriously, it's OK sometimes. Having fun is good once awhile, yes?

My world is extremely blurry without my glasses and I often lie in bed and watch the shadows and movement of the trees in the mornings... find it very relaxing way to start the day... I like your interpretation but am thinking your eye sight may be much better than mine, because mine would be way more blurry... love it xx
