Sunday Sketches

I broke the cardinal rule of composition; placing the subject matter in the center of the painting.

BUT, this showy Iris deserved center stage and I did it!

    What's wrong with putting this beautiful flower in the center? That's what I would have done. And I love the way colors flow and melt into each other here.
